On the Workflow Properties dialog box, which is opened by clicking New Workflow on the Workflows view, you specify the properties of an approval workflow.
General Tab of Workflow Properties Dialog Box
To create a workflow, enter the properties on the following tabs:

| • | Workflow Steps Tab |
| • | Conditions Tab |
| • | Applies To Tab |
| • | Simulate Tab |
You can also have a workflow step execute a custom action on the Workflow Step Properties Dialog Box, as described in Configuring a Workflow Step to Execute a Custom Action.
