This section describes App Portal’s legacy API web methods and integration API web methods. Using web services allows for cross platform support from a variety of development languages.

Note • App Portal also has a set of API web methods, but they are SOAP based, while App Broker’s API is REST and SOAP based. For more information, see App Broker for ServiceNow REST API Reference.
