Creating a New Catalog Item Using the Wizard

You can use the New Catalog Item Wizard to create general catalog items; software catalog items from SCCM 2012, SCCM 2007, Altiris, or Casper deployment technologies; AirWatch mobile application catalog items; and SCCM task sequence catalog items.
After creating a catalog item using the wizard, you can then edit its properties or set additional, advanced properties on the Catalog Item Properties dialog box.
Note • You can also create a new catalog item using the Catalog Item Properties dialog box, as described in Creating a New Catalog Item (Advanced).
Important • To create an AirWatch mobile application catalog item, you must use the New Catalog Item Wizard. After you have created the mobile application catalog item, you can then set additional properties on the Catalog Item Properties dialog box.
