Add Connection
Important:This feature is available for MSI packages in Vendor Patch Module (VPM) patches.
Patch publishing functionality is integrated into SVM Cloud, allowing patches to be published directly to Intune.
Note:This feature is supported for the Cloud connection.
To configure Intune connection details, perform the following steps.
To configure Intune connection:
| 1. | On Patching menu, click Distribution System Connections in the left pane. |
The Distribution System Connections page appears with connection details.
| 2. | Click Add Connection button. The Add Connection dialog box appears. |
| 3. | Use the following fields to add the Intune connection: |

Distribution System Type |
Click the Distribution System Type drop down and select Microsoft Intune from the list. |

Connection Name |
Enter name of the connection. |
|
Application (client) ID |
Enter the registered application (client) id. For more information on generating Application (client) Id, see App Registration. |

Directory (tenant) ID |
Enter the registered directory (tenant) id. For more information on generating Directory (tenant) Id, see App Registration. |

Client Secret |
Enter client secret. For more information on generating Client Secret, see Create Client Secret. |
|
App Category (Optional) |
Enter the application category. |
| 4. | Click the Test Connection button. |
| 5. | Click OK and confirm the popup to ensure the settings you entered can be used to successfully connect to this service. |
| 6. | Click Save Connection button. |
| 7. | Click OK and confirm the popup to create successful connection. |
| 8. | Upon successful action, the new connection details display in the grid. |
