Add Extended Support
In this page you can configure Extended Security Updates (ESUs) for End-of-Life Products. The Extended Security Update (ESU) is an option run certain legacy products end of support.
The Extended Security Update (ESU) allows you to override an End-of-Life status to Secure/Insecure for the selected products. In this page you can add extended for the End-of-Life products.
To add extended support for the End-of-Life products, perform the following steps:
To add extended support for the End-of-Life products:
1. | In the Results > Product Smart Groups view, right click on an End-of-Life product, and then select Add Extended Support from the menu option. |
The dialog box opens.
2. | In the Extended Security Updates (ESU) Date field, select the required date from the calendar list. |
3. | In the Available Sites, select required sites by clicking on the check box. You can see the selected sites in the right side of that section. |
Note:Multiple sites can be selected
4. | In the Available Hosts, select required hosts by clicking on the check box. You can see the selected sites in the right side of that section. |
Note:Multiple hosts can be selected.
5. | Upon adding the required details, click Save button. |
6. | Extended support added for the selected product can be seen in the Scanning > Filter Scan Results> Extended Support. |
7. | You can view override End-of-Life status to Secure/Insecure for the selected product in Scan Results, Smart Groups, and Reports. |
Note:When No Sites or Hosts are selected, then ESU is applicable for all the hosts and sites.
