Upgrade Patch Publisher to Newer Version

You can upgrade Patch Publisher to a newer version, which offers improved functionality and performance. The update process includes steps to back up existing configurations and verify connections after the upgrade.

To upgrade Patch Publisher to newer version:

1.

Take the backup of patchpublisher.json from %PROGRAMFILES%\Flexera Software\Patch Publisher\

2.

After upgrade Launch the application.

3.

Check the connections.

4.

If no data is availabe, close the Patch Publisher.

5.

Replace the patchpublisher.json which was taken in step 1 to location %PROGRAMFILES%\Flexera Software\Patch Publisher\

6.

Lauch the Patch Publisher.

7.

Provide SVM Connections and click on Test & Save button.

Note:If data is available, steps 4, 5, 6, and 7 are not required.
