Changing Default Log Level in log.config File

The default log level is set to “Info” in the log.config file in order to limit the size of the log files.

For more verbose, detailed log entries, you can change the log level to “Debug” or “ALL” in the log.config file. For example, you can set the log level to “ALL” for SETUP_LOG in log.config to make the setup log show additional details about LDAP searches.

Note that more verbose log levels will greatly increase the size of the log files.

After changing the log.config file, you must restart the Data Platform Service in the Services control panel for the changes to take effect.
