5.5.67 Release Plus Full Installer (August 2023)
Important:There was no patch release for July 2023. Instead, the August 2023 release includes patch 5.5.67 and a new full installer.
Announcements
We are happy to announce the delivery of a new full installer for Data Platform in August 2023. In addition, we are announcing new database version support and notifying customers that we will soon be dropping support for selected older databases later in 2023.
| • | New Full Installer for Data Platform—A new full installer for Data Platform is available to current Data Platform customers from the Flexera Product and License Center. This new installer incorporates all patches to Data Platform 2022 through version 5.5.66. This means new installs of Data Platform can be deployed without any additional patching. The new installer deploys Data Platform 2023 including all patches up to, and including, version 5.5.66. Customers who are far behind on Data Platform 5.5.x patch version are recommended to take advantage of this new market version prior to applying the 5.5.67 patch. |
| • | Support for SQL Server 2022—Data Platform has been certified with Microsoft SQL Server 2022. Support for SQL Server 2022 has been added to the system requirements documentation in the Data Platform Installation Guide. (See the Databases section of Software System Requirements.) |
| • | Deprecating Support for Older Databases—In the coming months, Flexera will be dropping support for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and Microsoft SQL Server 2014. |
