Check the SelfService Service
To check that the SelfService application pool service is running, perform the following steps:

Open Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 Manager. |

2.

Select Application Pools in the tree. The Application Pools view opens. |
|
3.
|
In the Application Pools list, make sure that the SelfService service is started and running under the domain account that was specified during the App Portal installation. |
|
4.
|
If the service is not started, start it by clicking Start in the Actions menu. |
|
5.
|
On the Actions menu, click Advanced Settings... to open the Advanced Settings dialog box for this service, and make sure that the Start Automatically property is set to True. |
