Connecting Azure MCA Cloud Solution Provider in Flexera One (New)

You can connect Azure MCA CSP using the Azure Cost Management API or the Exports feature. If you need scoped data and not full billing account data, you can create a bill connect using Exports. Exports Bill Connect supports ingestion of Actual and Amortized Costs via Azure Cost Management Exports.

To connect Azure MCA CSP in Flexera One using the Azure Cost Management API:

1. Go to the Billing Configuration page (Administration > Cloud Settings > Billing Configuration).
2. Click Add a Cloud Bill. The Connect Cloud - Choose your cloud dialog box opens.
3. Choose Microsoft Azure and click Continue. The Connect Cloud - Microsoft Azure dialog box opens.
4. In the Microsoft Customer Agreement section, choose New Azure CSP (Modern Commerce) and click Continue. The Connect Cloud - Azure CSP (Modern Commerce) dialog box opens.
5. From the Scope options, choose one of the following scopes where you manage billing data:
Billing Account—For managing billing for all customers and subscriptions managed by the partner.
Billing Profile—For managing billing only for tenants.
Customer Tenant—For managing billing specific to one customer only.

Note:Consider the following:

The subscription on the Azure Partner Portal is a prerequisite for scoping.
Depending on the scope selected, the fields on the page may vary.
6. Enter the following required information:
Client ID
Client Secret
Tenant ID
Billing Account ID
7. In the Start - Month/Year field, click the calendar icon (on the left side of the field) and select a date.

Note:Consider the following:

Ensure that the start month and year is equal to or greater than the Modern Commerce Agreement contract start date.
If you do not select the start month and year, the data is imported only for the current month.
If you select the start month and year, the data is imported from the specified date. Use this option to retrieve historical data and analyze information from a particular point in time.
8. Click Connect.

To connect Azure MCA CSP in Flexera One using Exports:

1. Go to the Billing Configuration page (Administration > Cloud Settings > Billing Configuration).
2. Click Add a Cloud Bill. The Connect Cloud - Choose your cloud dialog box opens.
3. Choose Microsoft Azure and click Continue. The Connect Cloud - Microsoft Azure dialog box opens.
4. In the Microsoft Customer Agreement section, choose New Azure CSP (Modern Commerce) and click Continue. The Connect Cloud - Azure CSP (Modern Commerce) dialog box opens.
5. From the Scope options, choose one of the following scopes where you manage billing data:
Billing Account—For managing billing for all customers and subscriptions managed by the partner.
Billing Profile—For managing billing only for tenants.
Customer Tenant—For managing billing specific to one customer only.

Note:The Customer Tenant ID field only displays if the selected scope is as Customer tenant.

7. In the Start - Month/Year field, click the calendar icon (on the left side of the field) and select a date.

Note:Consider the following:

8. Enter the following required information, and then click Connect:
Location of unamortized export data
Location of actual export data

Consider the following:

You must enter the location URLs in the following format:

https://<Storageaccountname>.blob.core.windows.net/<Containername>/<Directorypath>/<Exportname>

Example:

https://xyzexports.blob.core.windows.net/323266/sales-buyer/actual-cost-sales-buyer

Where:

xyzexports is the storage account name.

323266 is the container name.

sales-buyer is the directory path.

actual-cost-sales-buyer is the folder name (export name) to store the actual cost.

You must create one URL for each: Actual Costs and Amortized Costs.
