Editing Rules

Important:To edit a rule, you must have the Manage organization or Manage rule-based dimensions role. For complete descriptions of each role available in Flexera One, see Flexera One Roles.

You can edit a rule on the Rule-Based Dimensions page. You can edit every component that was added during the creation of the rule, and you can also add or delete groups, subgroups, and conditions. For more information on the components of a rule see Creating Rules.

To edit a rule:

1.

Go to the Rule-Based Dimensions page (Administration > Cloud Settings > Rule-Based Dimensions).

In the Dimensions list, click the expand icon next to the dimension that contains the rules list with the rule you want to edit.

Click the rules list. The rules contained in the rules list are listed.

4.

Click the three dots icon next to the rule you want to edit, and then click Edit Rule. The Edit Rule window appears.

5.

Make your edits to the rule.

6.

Click Update. The rule is updated.

Note:After you make rule changes, it takes 24 hours to process the change.
