Reordering Rules

Important:To reorder rules, you must have the Manage organization or Manage rule-based dimensions role. For complete descriptions of each role available in Flexera One, see Flexera One Roles.

You can change the priority of the rules in a rules list by reordering them. The rules are evaluated in the order they are listed.

To reorder rules:

1. Go to the Rule-Based Dimensions page (Administration > Cloud Settings > Rule-Based Dimensions).
2. In the Dimensions list, click the expand icon next to the dimension that contains the rules list with the rules you want to reorder.
3. Click the rules list. The rules contained in the rules list are listed.
4. Click Reorder.
5. Reorder a rule in one of the following ways:
Click the Up and Down arrows next to the rule to move it to the new priority location.
Click the Move icon next to the rule, select the new priority location from the list in the Move to dialog box, and then click Move.
Grab the rule with your cursor and drop it at the new priority location.
6. Click Save Order.
