Tag Dimensions
Important:The Manage tag dimensions role is required to access the Tag Dimensions page (Administration > Cloud Settings > Tag Dimensions). The View cloud costs role is needed to see the cloud spend using the dimensions. For complete descriptions of each role available in Flexera One, see Flexera One Roles.
Custom dimensions are dimensions that are specific to your organization. Tag Dimensions are custom dimensions that are used to allocate and view the cloud spend for resource tags.
Within Flexera One, Tag Dimensions can be used within the following pages or tables:

Any resource tags (labels in Google) discovered in your bill data can be enabled to create tag dimensions. For Google and Microsoft Azure, all resource tags/labels are available in the bill data by default. For Amazon Web Services, resource tags must be configured as user-defined cost allocation tags for them to be available in the bill and to be used as tag dimensions in Flexera One.
To configure a tag/label as a tag dimension:

Go to the Tag Dimensions page (Administration > Cloud Settings > Tag Dimensions). |

In the Create Tag Dimension dialog box, complete the following steps. |

a.

Enter the Tag Display Name. |
Important:The Tag Display Name must start with a letter and only contain letters, spaces, and numbers.
Important:The Tag Key(s) field is case-sensitive and may contain only letters, spaces, numbers, periods (.), colons (:), left and right parentheses (), dashes (-), and underscores (_).

To create additional keys, click Add another Tag Key and enter the tag key. |
Note:Tag keys are applied in the order specified.

d.
|
Click Save. The Tag Dimensions page reappears with the new tag dimension added to the table. |

4.
|
At any time, you can edit or delete a tag dimension in the appropriate table row by clicking the appropriate option in the Actions column. |

To edit a tag dimension: |

a.

Click the Edit Tag Dimension button. The Edit Tag Dimension dialog box appears. |

b.
|
Edit the necessary information for the Tag Display Name and Tag Key(s) fields. |

To delete a tag dimension: |

Click the Delete Tag Dimension button. The Delete Tag Dimension dialog box appears. |
