Properties for Users on Apply Allocations and Exemptions Page

This page displays the following columns (listed alphabetically). Some columns are displayed by default and others can be displayed through the column chooser. To manage columns and other UI options, see the topics under Managing Columns in a Table.

Properties for Users on Apply Allocations and Exemptions Page

Property

Description

Account name

The login name of the end-user associated with this license.

Editable in the General tab of the user properties.

Corporate unit

The corporate unit associated with the user of the installation or allocation.

Editable in the Details tab of the user properties.

Cost center

The cost center associated with the user of the installation or allocation.

Editable in the Details tab of the user properties.

Domain

The domain registering the account name of the user of the installation or allocation.

Editable in the General tab of the user properties (if mapped to an existing user).

Employment status

The type of employment of a user (such as Employee, Casual, and so on).

Editable in the General tab of the user properties.

Location

The location (enterprise group) associated with the user of the installation or allocation.

Editable in the Details tab of the user properties.

Status

The user's operational status within the enterprise.

Editable in the General tab of the user properties.

User allocation type

Indicates how the user is related to the installation, allocation, or exemption. It can have any of the following values:

• Blank when the user is not included in the details in the current row.
• Allocated user—An allocation has been made directly to this user from the license named in this row. Furthermore, no installation record for the licensed software was found on an inventory device related to the user. (Whenever there is a related installation record, one of the two following values is displayed instead.)
• Assigned user—An allocation or exemption has been made for an inventory device on the license named in this row, or there is an installation record for the licensed software on the inventory device; and the user is identified with that inventory device as the assigned user (set in the Ownership tab of the inventory device properties).
• Calculated user—An allocation or exemption has been made for an inventory device on the license named in this row, or there is an installation record for the licensed software on the inventory device; and the user is identified with that inventory device as the most frequently logged on user over the last 10 inventory collections.

User name

The name of the user associated with this installation, allocation, or exemption. The association may be:

• As the user associated with the device linked to the license in this row
• As a direct consumer of a user-based license type.
