Actions

The Actions tab on the Discovery and Inventory Rules page lists all the existing actions. An action determines what actions to perform on the identified targets when the tasks runs. When the rule executes, the action definition instructs every inventory beacon about which discovery method to use and what type of inventory to collect. For example, you can create an action to discover and collect inventory from all Oracle virtual machines in your network. You must create an action to create a rule.
