The time-based nature of the license.

This field is for record keeping only, and does not affect compliance calculations. Choose an appropriate value:

If the license requires regular payments, select Subscription.

•

If the license has a hard time limit (such as an evaluation with a fixed expiry date), select Time limited.

•

For normal licenses, leave the default selection, Perpetual.

Tip:This value may be set to Subscription automatically when you link this license to a purchase of type Software subscription.
