ServiceNow Datasets

The Technology Intelligence Platform includes two new ServiceNow datasets as well as two new attributes meant to enable customers to build queries that correlate their ServiceNow inventory data with their data in Flexera One.

ServiceNow Device—contains the information on the hardware identified by ServiceNow. (See ServiceNow Device on developer.flexera.com for details.)
ServiceNow Software—contains the information on the software identified by ServiceNow. (See ServiceNow Software on developer.flexera.com for details.)

New attributes to support ServiceNow and Data Platform users:

SysID—exists in the ServiceNow Device and ServiceNow Software datasets to identify the unique ID of a piece of inventory in ServiceNow. SysID in ServiceNow Device identifies the machine associated with the hardware source. SysID in ServiceNow Software identifies the software installation with the software source.
LegacyID—exists in the Hardware Technopedia and Software Technopedia datasets to specify the Data Platform Legacy ID for the hardware product/model or software product/release. The LegacyID can be used to map the Technopedia IDs in Flexera One to the legacy IDs that come from Data Platform.
