IT Visibility Settings

Important: The Administer organization role is required to access the IT Visibility Settings page. For complete descriptions of each role available in Flexera One, see Flexera One Roles.

The IT Visibility Settings page in allows administrators to configure options that affect how IT Visibility behaves for all users. These settings help you tailor IT Visibility to meet your organization’s operational and security requirements.

To access the IT Visibility Settings page, go to Administration > IT Visibility Settings > General.

Obsolete Inventory Setting

More configurable options will become available on this page in future releases.

Obsolete Inventory Setting

This setting allows you to manage automatic cleanup of inventory device records that were previously reporting inventory from FlexNet Inventory Agent, but have now stopped reporting. The default setting is Never, meaning that no cleanup is performed.

Important:Cleanup is irreversible. If you wish to preserve records of inventory devices no longer reporting, ensure that Never is selected in the Remove Flexera agent inventory items not reported after drop-down list.

To configure automatic cleanup of obsolete inventory:

1.

Click Edit.

2.

Select a value (such as 30 days) from the Remove Flexera agent inventory items not reported after drop-down list.

3.

Click Save.

This setting will run daily. Changes may take up to 24 hours to appear in dashboards. Only ITV inventory gathered by the FlexNet Inventory Agent will be affected.
