Deleting Data Mashup Datasets

Note:If you have already upgraded to Technology Intelligence Platform, information in this section is not applicable to you. The Data Mashup feature will no longer be accessible from the IT Visibility user interface (IT Visibility > Data Mashup) instead use the Contextual Data Store API to augment your organization’s inventory data with non-discoverable business context data you provide.

You can delete any dataset previously uploaded for data mashup from the Data Mashup page.

Important:In addition to removing the data mashup attributes and facts from Data Explorer, IT Visibility also deletes any saved reports/insights that included attributes and facts from that deleted dataset.

To delete an existing dataset:

1.

In Flexera One, click IT Visibility > Data Mashup to open the Data Mashup page.

For the dataset you want to delete, click the Delete button. The Delete dataset dialog box opens.

IT Visibility warns you that this action will delete the dataset and that this action cannot be undone.

Click the Delete button to confirm the deletion and remove the dataset from IT Visibility.

IT Visibility deletes the dataset and any reports/insights that used attributes and facts from that dataset.
