Viewing Beacon Details
You can view a list of all recorded installations of FlexNet Beacon within your customer’s organization, with a summary of the key status values for each. The health status of each beacon is provided for all customers. Health status is made up of two columns—Connection Status and Beacon Status.
Note:The status information is updated every two hours, providing you the latest information on the health of the beacons.
To view the details of a beacon:

Select Customers from the left-hand navigational panel. The Customers Overview page opens, listing all the customers. |

Do one of the following: |

Click the name of the customer that you want to view the information for. The details about the customer open in a separate <Customer Name> tab, then click the Beacons tab. |

Click the number hyperlink in the Total Beacons column. |
Note:Consider the following:

|
If you do not have the appropriate role, you cannot view the beacon details. |
|
•
|
If a customer has only the Cloud Cost Optimization capability, the Beacons tab does not display. |
|
•
|
Only if the customer has either the IT Visibility or the IT Asset Management capability, the information about the beacon appears in the Beacons tab. |

If you have the IT Asset Management beacon installed, see Beacons. To view the properties of the IT Asset Management beacon, click the beacon name. You are taken to the customer’s system. For more information, see Beacon Properties. |
Note:You cannot delete either an IT Visibility beacon or an IT Asset Management beacon.
