Groups

You only have access to the functionality described in this information if you are entitled to use Flexera One SaaS Management, and have the System administrator role, or a custom role which has the related permissions included in this default role, assigned to you in Roles in Flexera One SaaS Management Settings.

Groups enable you to assign specific roles to a group of users in Flexera One SaaS Management. You can use groups to give access to multiple parts of the system to users in your organization who require the same access to your Flexera One SaaS Management functionality. The groups that you create in Flexera One SaaS Management do not apply to other Flexera One capabilities.

The roles that you grant to a user by assigning them to a group are in addition to any other roles assigned to that user in Flexera One SaaS Management.

The Groups page provides you with the list of groups created with the assigned roles, and the number of users assigned to each group.

Limits

There are limits on the maximum number of entities related to groups, which are permitted for Flexera One SaaS Management.
