Viewing Your Technology Spend
The Technology Spend dashboard appears. Here you can easily identify at a glance where spending is greatest, and with which vendors. You can also monitor the changing composition of that spend over time. This visualization of spend enables you to drive significant business outcomes.
The Technology Spend dashboard displays the following insights that show total IT spend and the composition of that total spend, for the past 12 months:

Total Technology Spend |
Shows the aggregated total spend from on-premises software, software maintenance, on-premises hardware, hardware maintenance, SaaS subscriptions, and Cloud infrastructure. |

Total Cloud Spend |
Shows the aggregated total cloud infrastructure spend. |

Total On-Premises Software Spend |
Shows the aggregated total spend from on-premises software. You can use the Spend Category drop-down to select whether to include software maintenance in the total on-premises software spend. |

Total SaaS Spend |
Shows the aggregated total spend from all SaaS subscriptions. |
|
Total Technology Spend by Top (5) Vendors |
Shows the IT spend composition associated with a strategic list of top 5 vendors based upon technology spend. |

Spend Composition Trend |
Shows the breakdown of IT spend by different spend categories (on-premises software, software maintenance, software upgrades, SaaS subscriptions, and Cloud infrastructure), and showing the change in that composition over the past 12 months (rolling), by default. |

Shows the composition of total IT spend, broken down by the spend categories. |
