FlexNet Log Files
FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications logs are useful sources of debugging information. Both FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Admin and FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting have individual FlexNet logs that capture system information for the respective servers. Active log files are rotated each day at midnight, by default. FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications uses the Apache log4j logging services for all but the request logs; for a detailed description of how to customize the log4j log files, beyond what is found in this chapter, see the log4j documentation.
When FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications runs, messages are written to a set of four log files:
