Installing the PostgreSQL Server
Follow PostgreSQL Global Development Group instructions to install PostgreSQL Server. (This guide states only the assumptions and requirements of the PostgreSQL Server database installation that allow it to work correctly with FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Admin and Reporting.)
Things to be checked before start working on PostgresSQL:
| • | Need to set PGHOST to the name of database server machine if it is a remote machine. |
| • | Need to set PGPORT if using a non-default port to connect to your PostgreSQL instance. |
