Testing the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Installation
To test that you can manage a license server using FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Admin, start your FlexNet components (Admin, Reporting, and Flexera Analytics) using the startup scripts, boot scripts, or as Windows services in the following order:

Database server—If the database server is not already running, refer to the instructions from the database vendor to start the database server. |

FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting—For instructions on starting FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Reporting, see Running Reporting As a Service |

3.

FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Admin—For instructions on starting FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Admin, see Running Admin as a Service |
|
5.
|
FlexNet Agent on a license server machine—For instructions on starting a FlexNet Agent, see the FlexNet Agent Installation Guide for the agent version you have deployed |
To check that you can start the license server using FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Admin, verify that the license server that was specified during the installation of the FlexNet Agent is not running.
