Managing FlexNet Agents
You can add, connect to, and remove FlexNet Agents, using functionality available beneath the Agents tab.
To add a FlexNet Agent:
| 1. | From the Servers tab, under Agents, click Add Agent. |
| 2. | Provide information about the FlexNet Agent. |

Agent Name |
Provide a unique name for the FlexNet Agent. |
|
Connection Protocol |
Select the protocol used to connect to the FlexNet Agent—TCP or SSL. |
|
Agent Host |
Specify the host on which the FlexNet Agent resides. |
|
Agent Port |
Specify the port for the FlexNet Agent. |
| 3. | Click Save to save the settings without connecting to the FlexNet Agent, or click Save & Connect to save the settings and attempt to connect with the FlexNet Agent. |
After you add it, the FlexNet Agent appears in the Agent Summary page. From this page, you can click the FlexNet Agent’s name to edit the FlexNet Agent’s settings. You can also view the FlexNet Agent’s log and remove the FlexNet Agent from FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications management.
