FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications provides investment-planning functionality that enables your enterprise to analyze product-usage trends in order to forecast future product-licensing needs and license distribution for your entire organization.
Using the investment-planning functionality available from the Planner tab, you can map licensed features to the software products that are used in your organization. This feature-to-product mapping enables FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications to report on product usage, in addition to feature usage. Using the product-usage reports, you can discover usage trends and use this information to optimize your product license purchases by remixing your contract pools according to the terms specified in your license contract.
