Viewing Licenses in License Files
The License File Summary page displays a list of the licenses managed by FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications. The following information is displayed for each license file:

Display names of the license servers on which license files reside. If the triad symbol  appears to the right of the license-server name, it indicates that this is a triad (three-server) configuration. |

Path of the license file location |
|
•
|
Number of VENDOR lines in each license file |
|
•
|
Number of features in each license file |
|
•
|
A link to view certificates in a given license file |
|
•
|
A link to edit the license file |
You can sort the data in this page by the License Server column.
Note:License files are grouped together for triad license servers. If the license file names are not consistent on all three servers in a triad configuration, FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications cannot list the license certificates and the license file is not editable. Therefore, no Edit link is displayed in this case.
To see licenses managed by FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications that are represented in license files:

From the Licenses tab, under License Files, click License File Summary. |

Click the Certificates link for a license file to view information about the licenses contained in the file. This displays the Licenses for License File page, which provides the following information: |

Feature name in license |
|
•
|
Feature version in license |
|
•
|
Type of license line (for example, FEATURE, INCREMENT) |
|
•
|
Status of the license (expired, superseded, or active) |
|
•
|
Expiration date of the license, or permanent, if the license does not expire |
|
•
|
Number of concurrent licenses for this feature |
|
•
|
Number of overdraft licenses available for this feature |
|

After clicking the Certificates link, you can click the Detail link for the license to display the Certificate Details page, where you can view the text of the license line. |
Click the Edit link to display the Edit Licenses page, which enables you to add, edit, import, back up, and restore license certificates.
