Adding Organizational Structures

You can add and modify organizational structures using the pages available from the Organizational Structures section (beneath the Reporting tab) in the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications interface, or you can import an XML file that defines the organizational structure.

Note:To add and work with organizational structures, the user must also have a role with the View and Manage Org Structures permission.

To add an organizational structure from the user interface:

1. From the Reporting tab, under Organizational Structures, click Create Organizational Structure to display the Add Organizational Structure page.
2. Specify the organizational structure settings. Required settings are identified by a red asterisk (*).
