Viewing and Analyzing Plans (Renewals/Remixes)
After you add a remix, you can use the View Plan (Renewal/Remix) page to:

Export the results to a CSV file. |

•
|
Complete the plan for remix or renewal. |
Plan Information
The bottom of the page contains the following information:

|
Product—The product for which this plan information applies. |
|
•
|
Usage—The number of peak concurrent users for this product over the specified time period. |
|
•
|
Days—The number of days in the specified time period that reached the peak value. |
|
•
|
Time at Peak—The total amount of time spent at the peak value during the specified time period. |
|
•
|
Denials—The number of denials that occurred during the specified time period while at peak usage. |
|
•
|
Denial %—Editable field that enables you to specify the percentage of hours during a specified time period, during which a denial would be acceptable. |
|
•
|
Effective—The new peak usage quantity after applying the value specified in the Denial % field (if any). This is used to calculate the Forecast quantity. |
|
•
|
Forecast—Total quantity of product licenses that are needed as of the Forecast Date. This value is determined by extending the usage trend line from the effective peak usage as of the Trend Data End Date until the Forecast Date. |
|
•
|
External—The number of product licenses that are not part of the current contract pool. This will be 0 if the current contract pool is associated with an organizational unit. |
|
•
|
Additional Qty—Number of additional product licenses to add to the forecast quantity. |
|
•
|
Buffer %—Enables you to specify an additional percentage of product licenses to add to the forecast quantity. |
|
•
|
Suggested—The suggested total quantity of the product. |
|
•
|
Override—Enables you to override the quantity suggested by trend analysis for this remix. |
|
•
|
Final—The number of product licenses required for this remix. If the Override field contains a value, the Final quantity will be the same as the Override quantity. If the Override field is empty, the Final quantity will be the same as the Suggested quantity. |
Providing Additional Plan Settings
To view plan details and provide additional settings:

1.

From the Planner tab, under Contracts, click Contracts. |
|
2.
|
On the Contract Summary page, click the name of the contract for which you want to add a plan (renewal/remix). This displays the View Contract page. |
|
3.
|
In the bottom section, click the Plans (Renewals/Remixes) tab, then click the name of the plan. This displays the View Plan (Renewal/Remix) page. |
|
4.
|
Specify the following optional additional settings, available in the bottom section of the page. |
|
|
|
|
Denial %
|
The percentage of hours during which a denial would be acceptable during the time period specified by the Trend Start and Trend End dates. This value is used to derive the Effective Peak column value.
|
|
Additional Qty
|
Number of additional product licenses to add to the forecast quantity.
|
|
Buffer %
|
Additional percentage of product licenses to add to the forecast quantity.
|
|
Override
|
Overrides the quantity suggested by trend analysis for this remix.
|
|
5.
|
Click Save and Analyze Changes to see the results of the plan analysis with the additional settings. |
