Updating LUM License Server Status

When you add a LUM license server to FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications, you specify whether you want to refresh the license server status at a specified interval. For LUM license servers that have been added to FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications, you can refresh the license server status on demand, or change the status-update schedule.

This setting determines how often information is refreshed on the LUM Concurrent Usage and LUM Concurrent Usage - Users pages.

Updating LUM License Server Status on Demand

To refresh LUM license server status on demand:

1. From the Servers tab, under Third-Party License Servers, click LUM Servers.
2. Click the Refresh link in the row that contains the LUM license server whose status you want to update.

Changing the Schedule for LUM License Server Status Updates

To update status update scheduling for an existing LUM license server:

1. From the Servers tab, under Third-Party License Servers, click LUM Servers.
2. Click the check box in front of the LUM license server for which you want to update the status update schedule. You can update the schedule for multiple LUM license servers by selecting multiple check boxes.
3. Click Status Updates to display the Change LUM Server Status Update Schedule dialog.
4. Ensure that the servers displayed in the Selected LUM Servers box are the license servers for which you want to update the schedule.
5. In the LUM Server Status Update section, specify the schedule:
Select Do Not Refresh if you do not want to update LUM server status for the selected servers.
Select the Refresh every ____ minutes option and specify how often you want the selected server’s status to be updated. Type a number between 1 and 60.
6. Click Save to update the schedule for the selected LUM license servers.
