Not Recognizable Vendor Daemons

The Not Recognizable Vendor Daemons page displays a list of vendor daemons in your enterprise that FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications does not recognize because the FlexNet Agent is no longer communicating information about the vendor daemon. Vendor daemons might become unrecognizable due to local changes on the license server machine (for example, changes to the port or host).

This page provides the following information:

• Vendor daemon name
• Group
• License server name
• Port@host information
• Log rotation
• Date on which the vendor daemon was last updated

To view not recognizable vendor daemons:

From the Servers tab, under Not Recognizable, click Vendor Daemons. This displays the Not Recognizable Vendor Daemons page.

Removing Vendor Daemons from FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Management

From the Not Recognizable Vendor Daemons page, you can remove unrecognizable vendor daemons from FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications management.

To remove vendor daemons from FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications:

1. Click the Servers tab, click Not Recognizable, then click Vendor Daemons. This displays the Not Recognizable Vendor Daemons page.
2. Select the check boxes in front of the vendor daemons that you want to remove from FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications management.
3. Click Remove.
