Permissions

A permission specifies a discrete function that a user is able to perform in FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications. Permissions are grouped into roles, and roles are assigned to users. All of the permissions associated with a particular role are available to the users to which the role is assigned.

To automatically select all of the permissions when defining a role, select the Select All Permissions check box; otherwise, select permissions from the available permissions groups:

• Alert Management Permissions
• System Administration Permissions
• Classic Reporting Permissions
• Browsing Logged-In Users
• User Management Permissions
• License Server Management Permissions
• Investment Planner Permissions
