Server Coverage Report
A Server Coverage report shows how much time the license server has served licenses. This report enables you to see both the up time and any periods of down time (coverage gaps) for each vendor daemon. You can specify the duration of the coverage gap when you configure the report.
This report displays the time that the license server was up, as well as the following information:

Periods of time that the license server was down |
|
•
|
Corrupted blocks of data in the report log |
|
•
|
Missing blocks of data in the report log |
|
•
|
Errors discovered with the report log during the report’s generation |
To create a Server Coverage report configuration:
|
1.

From the Reporting tab, under Classic Reporting, click Report Configurations. This displays the Report Configurations page. |

2.
|
For the Server Coverage report configuration, click Edit to launch the Create Report Configuration Wizard. |
|
3.
|
In the Create Report Configuration: Naming page, provide a name and description for your report configuration, specify a date range, and select the vendor daemons and license server hosts from which you want report log data. |

In the Report Output Directory field, specify an output directory where the report is copied, for example, C:\ManagerReports. |

In the Output Directory Options section, select one of the following options: |

Overwrite the existing contents—When the report is run, the output is copied to the directory specified in the Report Output Directory field, overwriting all files in the specified directory. |
Important:If this option is selected, all existing files in the Report Output Directory will be deleted and replaced with the report output.

Do not overwrite. —Creates subdirectories (in the report output directory) for reports based on their timestamps. The timestamp is of the format YYMMDDHHmmssSSS (where SSS represents milliseconds), for example, C:\ManagerReports\150527213046255 for May 27, 2015, 9:30:46 p.m. Each time the report is run, a new subdirectory is created. |

Do not overwrite. Create subdirectories using report names and timestamps.—Creates subdirectories (in the report output directory) for reports based on their configuration name. Each subdirectory, in turn, has subdirectories based on timestamps, for example, C:\ManagerReports\Usage_Over_Time_Sample1\070527213046255 for the configuration “Usage Over Time Sample1,” run on May 27, 2007, 9:30:46 p.m. |

In the Post-Processing Command field, specify any post-processing commands that you want to invoke after the report is generated. |

In the Coverage Gap Threshold field, specify the coverage gap threshold in seconds. By default, only gaps in license service exceeding 15 minutes (900 seconds) are shown. |

Click Finish or Finish & Run. |
