Working with Vendor Daemons
The Vendor Daemon Summary page lists all of the vendor daemons that are managed by FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications, providing the following information for each vendor daemon:
| • | Vendor daemon name. (Click the vendor daemon name to configure or manage the vendor daemon.) |
| • | Display name of each license server. |
| • | Click the display name of a license server to configure or manage the license server. |
| • | Port and host setting for each license manager. |
| • | Status of each vendor daemon. |
| • | Time and date of the last vendor daemon status update. |
To update the status of a vendor daemon, click the Update Status button for the vendor daemon.
Required Permissions
Any FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications user can view vendor daemon status and settings. To manage and configure a vendor daemon, however, a user must be assigned a role with the Manage Vendor Daemons permission.
To view the vendor daemon summary:
From the Servers tab, under Vendor Daemons, click Vendor Daemon Summary to display the Vendor Daemon Summary page.
