Scheduling License Server Updates and License-File Rereads
You can change the default schedule for status updates and for license-file rereads.
You can also update license-server status manually.
To change the default settings for a license server:
| 1. | From the Configure and Manage License Server page, click the License Server Scheduling link to display the License Server Scheduling dialog. |
This link is displayed only for users assigned a role with the Manage License Servers permission.
| 2. | To disable automatic status updates, clear its Enable check box. |
| 3. | To change the schedule of status updates, select the Enable Refresh License Server Status check box and select an interval. |
Note:The shorter the update interval, the more impact the automatic status updates may have on the overall performance of FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications.
| 4. | To enable automatic rereads of license files, select its Enable check box, and select an interval from the Enable Reread License Files menu. |
| 5. | Click Save. |
You do not need to restart the license server for these changes to take effect.
Updating License Server Status Manually
You can change the status-update setting for each license server (using the process outlined above), or you can update the status manually.
To update the status of a license server manager manually:
| 1. | From the Servers tab, under the License Managers section, click License Manager Summary to display the License Manager Summary page. |
| 2. | Click the Update Status button of the license server whose status display you want to update. |
