Importing Product Definitions
You can import product definitions contained in an XML file to populate the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications database. The imported products will be displayed on the Products page.
Product import can be done in two ways:
| • | Using the Products page in the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications interface. |
| • | From the command line, using the importproducts command. |
The XML file must contain product definitions from a single software producer. If the XML file contains a reference to a software producer that does not already exist in the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications system, FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications creates the software producer.
