Installation Task Checklist
The installation process requires that various components be installed and configured. {Hyperlink}Table {Default ¹ Font} lists the installation tasks and the role, permission, and/or expertise required to carry out the tasks.

Configure a database server using the guidelines described in Configuring Database Servers for FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications. If you are using Oracle, create tablespaces for the Admin and Reporting databases. Test license-server management by starting and stopping a license server. To learn how to test stopping and starting a license server, see Testing the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Installation. Then you can continue to install FlexNet Agents on additional license server machines. |
