Flexera Analytics Reporting

Flexera Analytics is built on the Cognos Analytics reporting engine, and enables you to gather, collate, and report on all of your FlexNet licensing activity. Flexera Analytics includes complete tools for managing, creating, and editing both simple and complex reports.

Important:FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications Foundation Edition does not include Flexera Analytics.

FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications provides multiple levels of usage data summarization with Hourly, Daily, and Monthly aggregations (roll-ups). These aggregations are used in the Flexera Analytics (Cognos) package 2010 Build 1 and enable you to author high-performance business reports in the Flexera Analytics while using very little extra storage space. (See Usage Data Maintenance for information about how the data cleanup service is used in conjunction with the different levels of aggregation.)

Flexera Analytics includes a detailed help facility that explains its features and functionality. In addition, you may need to refer to the Cognos documentation for both Query Studio and Report Studio, available from the Cognos web site at www.cognos.com.
