User Management Permissions

With User Management permissions, a user can view and manage users, view and manage roles, see who is logged in to FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications, and view and manage domains.

User Management Permissions
Permission	Description
View Users	View the list of users and view a user in read-only mode. If a directory service domain is configured, this permission also enables a user to view the list of groups and view a group in read-only mode.
View and Manage Users	View, add, and edit users. Reset a user’s password. If a directory service domain is configured, this permission also enables a user to view, add, and edit groups.
View Roles	View the list of users and view the definition of a role in read-only mode.
View and Manage Roles	View, add, and edit roles. Access to all functionality of the Roles section of the Admin tab.
View Logged-in Users	View the users logged in to FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications displayed in the Logged-In Users page (Admin \| Logged-In Users).
View Domains	View the list of domains and view a domain in read-only mode.
View and Manage Domains	View, add, and edit domains.
Assign Cognos Roles	Enables the user to assign Cognos roles to FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications users. Only users who have this permission will be able to view the Cognos Roles page (available under the Reporting tab, in the Flexera Analytics section).
