Exporting Product Definitions

From the Products page, you can export all product definitions to a .csv (comma-separated values) file. Exporting this data may be helpful if you need to migrate data from one instance of FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications to another (for example, in the case of a divestiture or spin-off), or if you want to work with your product data using another tool (for example, a spreadsheet).

To export product-definition information to a .csv file:

From the Planner tab, under Products, click Products.

On the Products page, click the export button

, then click OK in the confirmation dialog. This will export definition information for all products.

3.

Open or save the exported .csv file.
