Report Configuration Pages

To create a report, you select a report type and work through the report configuration pages presented for the report type. Depending on the report type you select, FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications displays between two and six report configuration pages, which enable you to customize your report with regard to the usage information shown and how that information is displayed.

Description

Naming

Enables you to provide a name and description for the report configuration, select a date range, and specify which vendor daemons and license server hosts you want to use for reporting data.

Feature Selection

On this page, you select report logs to be used for the report that contain the specified features and specify how features are described in the report.

Filter Properties

Provides a mechanism for filtering the data that is shown in a report.

Summary Options

Enables you to select report breakdown categories and define the time periods for which you want usage data.

Output Options (Raw Report Output Properties)

Using this page, you specify the report format and the order in which you want data displayed in the report. In addition, you can specify an output directory for the report and use post-processing commands on the report data.

Raw Report Fields

For Raw reports, this page enables you to select the order of the columns for each report from the provided fields.

Graph Options

On this page, you can customize the look of your finished report.

Server Coverage Properties

For Server Coverage reports, use this page to specify an output directory for the report, use post-processing commands on the report data, and specify a gap threshold.
