Exporting spend data to Unified Spend Analytics

IT Asset Management now supports exporting spend data to Flexera's Unified Spend Analytics. Unified Spend Analytics is a common dashboard available to Flexera customers. At a glance, the Unified Spend Analytics dashboard shows how much your organization is spending on Information Technology components, from which you can easily identify where spending is greatest, and with which vendors. You can also monitor the changing composition of that spend over time. This feature is available in the Unified Spend Analytics section (on the Integrations tab of the System Settings page).

The prerequisites that must be met in order to export spend data to Unified Spend Analytics are as follows:

• An OAuth token must be obtained to allow exporting of data from IT Asset Management to Unified Spend Analytics.
• An updated license file must be obtained and installed in IT Asset Management.
• A IT Asset Management administrator must configure settings within the Unified Spend Analytics section on the Integrations tab (of the System Settings page).
  Note: The processes for obtaining a license file and OAuth token are evolving. Initially, contact Flexera Support. For the latest information about these processes, refer to the Configuring IT Asset Management to export spend data to Unified Spend Analytics article, located in the Flexera Community. For cloud customers, a new license file will be automatically installed for you upon contacting Flexera Support and you will be provided a script to generate the OAuth token. The token must then be copy and pasted into the Token field in the Unified Spend Analytics section on the Integrations tab (of the System Settings page) and the license file will be automatically installed for you.
