Jamf Adapter
The Jamf Adapter, provided by IT Asset Management, enables the collection of inventory data from both Jamf Cloud and Jamf On-Premises environments. This data is then imported into IT Asset Management, allowing organizations that use Jamf to manage macOS devices to seamlessly integrate with IT Asset Management.
Jamf provides comprehensive device management and security solutions specifically for Apple products, that offers a platform that helps organizations manage, secure, and automate workflows for their Apple devices.
The adapter collects detailed information from Jamf, including hardware details, installer evidence, and WMI evidence for each managed macOS device. This data is synchronized with Flexera’s asset management ecosystem, ensuring accurate visibility, improved tracking, compliance, and IT asset optimization.
To view the full list of imported data, refer to What Jamf data is retrieved.
Jamf data is retrieved by calling the Jamf Pro API and imported into IT Asset Management for licence consumption analysis. Hardware details can be viewed on the All Inventory page, while installer evidence and WMI evidence are accessible under the Evidence tab for devices.
