Prerequisites for the OCI Adapter

IT Asset Management (Cloud)

The following FlexNet Beacon server prerequisites are required to use OCI adapter:

• An inventory beacon running the appropriate release of FlexNet Beacon software.
• PowerShell 5.1 or later.
• A web browser that can access IT Asset Management.
• The ability to log into the inventory beacon, and run FlexNet Beacon using an account with administrator privileges.

• A connection must be possible to the following URIs (where <region_name> is the OCI region configured for your API user)

  • https://identity.%3Cregion_name%3E.oci.oraclecloud.com
  • https://database .<region_name>.oraclecloud.com
  • https://iaas.%3Cregion_name%3E.oraclecloud.com
