A complete list of supported inventory sources that Flexera can connect to for inventory data collection is available in table format in Compatibility with Other Products in System Requirements and Compatibility.

This table outlines all products and components that integrate with IT Asset Management and contribute to the inventory data imported into Flexera. It also specifies whether each product/component provides data as a third-party inventory source or as inventory collected directly by Flexera. To clarify, while all listed products and components contribute inventory data to Flexera, the key distinction lies in the method of data collection, either through a third-party system or directly by Flexera.

It's important to note that the Type of inventory source column in the Integration with other products table does not apply to evidence gathered directly from a machine, such as WMI or registry data. Flexera does not connect to WMI to collect inventory. Instead, WMI provides evidence that Flexera gathers and uses. In contrast, Flexera does connect directly to sources like VMware, which are considered inventory sources.
