Measuring packages in the SAP Admin module and analyzing the package data in IT Asset Management enables you to determine the total license consumption of each SAP package across your organization.

The measurement program contains counting modules to automatically determine the packages used. This measurement runs in the background; the results are listed in the measurement log.

To ensure that the overall license position is as accurate as possible, it is recommended to measure all SAP systems at a similar time.
