IT Asset Management (Cloud)
This folder contains information about the organization structure that can be used in common across the following subject areas:
  • Licenses
  • Contracts
  • Purchases
  • Inventory.
The organization structure is divided into three separate hierarchies of parent/child relationships:
  • Location
  • Cost Center
  • Corporate Unit.
For example, a Purchase record may be linked to your Itasca office Location, which (depending on how you configured your location hierarchy) may have the full path USA/Illinois/Chicago/Itasca. In this hierarchy, Chicago is regarded as a child of Illinois, and so on. In this example, the attributes for locations level 1 through 4 would have the appropriate values, with the lower, unused levels being null.

While each of these dimensions is presented in its own page of the Flexera Asset Management Model, the pattern of attributes is simple and repetitive, so that all can be included here:

Current
