Responsibilities Tab
The Responsibilities tab helps you keep track of the players involved with the contract, perhaps during its development and negotiation and perhaps during its fulfillment. Managers, approval gatekeepers, and other interested parties can all be listed.
Responsibilities can be assigned to any person whose details are stored in the list of users in the system. User information is imported during the inventory import, or records can be created manually (navigate to Enterprise > Create a User). This means that, should you wish to use the Responsibilities tab to track involvement for people from outside your company (other parties to the contract), you will first need to manually create user records to represent them.
- Choose users to identify with this contract, to whom you will assign responsibilities
- Assign a responsibility to each linked user
- Add a brief comment about your assignment
- Navigate to review the user's recorded details
- Remove the link between a user and this contract, so that the user no longer bears any responsibilities in relation to it.
The list of responsibilities is directly editable, and has the following columns available:

Comments | Optionally, click in this field to add a brief comment about the assigned responsibility. In the Management (blue) mode of the interface, these comments are available only here, and cannot wrap; so they are best kept brief. |

Domain flat name |
The domain flat name registering the account name of the user of the installation or allocation. The flat domain name matches the Domain name field in the General tab of the user properties. |
Domain name |
The domain registering the account name of the user of the installation or allocation. Editable in the General tab of the user properties (if mapped to an existing user). |
Employee ID |
The ID of the employee. Editable in the General tab of the user properties. |
Employment status |
The type of employment of the accessing user (such as Employee, Casual, and so on). Editable in the General tab of the user properties. |
First name |
The first name of a user. Editable in the General tab of the user properties. |
Is operator |
Indicates whether the user is an Operator. An operator is a person using IT Asset Management who has been made a member of the Operator role. In most contexts of casual use, this may also include people who are in the Administrator role, since these roles share access to all product functionality. |
Job title |
The job title of a user. Editable in the General tab of the user properties. |
Last inventory source |
Details how a user account was added to the system, for example, Manual. Not editable. |
Last name |
The surname of a user. Editable in the General tab of the user properties. |
Manager |
The user's manager. Editable in the General tab of the user properties. |
Middle name |
The middle name of a user, if any (for example, a patronymic). Editable in the General tab of the user properties. |
Mobile |
The user's mobile phone number. Editable in the Details tab of the user properties. |
Name |
The Full name property from the user's
record.

Responsibility |
Editable in the Responsibilities tab of the contract properties. When you first add a user to this list, the
Responsibility column shows
Unspecified. You may leave this value if nothing else is
appropriate, or click the down arrow on the right end of this field to choose one of the
other available values:

Suffix |
The user's suffix, if any, preceded by their surname. Editable in the General tab of the user properties. |
Title |
The title of a user. Editable in the General tab of the user properties. |
