Rule Execution Details

FlexNet Manager Suite 2019 R1 (On-Premises Edition)
The Rule Execution Details page provides troubleshooting information about discovery and inventory rule execution tasks. You can use this page for troubleshooting FlexNet inventory agent installation and/or inventory collection through discovery and inventory rules. This page appears when you click one of the following links in the (expanded) rule details on the Rules tab of the Discovery and Inventory Rules page:
  • See details in the Summary column for a task in the Task status and history section
  • Devices failed to be inventoried in the rule details
  • View top 5 errors in the rule details.

This page serves as the second line resource for troubleshooting discovery and inventory rule information. You should use the information on this page when you are unable to troubleshoot the problems by using the troubleshooting information displayed on the Rules tab of the Discovery and Inventory Rules page. This page displays the following troubleshooting properties for each task. Some of these properties are visible by default whereas others are visible through the Column Chooser option. For more information about the UI controls, see the topics under Using Lists in FlexNet Manager Suite. All of these properties are read only.
